It examines the reasons behind the breach, its effects, and possible defenses, emphasizing how crucial strong cybersecurity procedures are to protecting private information and upholding public confidence in a world going more and more digital.

Creating a Better Policy

In my CYSE 300 course we were tasked to write an essay about being asked to design a security policy for a corporate information system consisting of on-premises web, application, and database servers. Five essential components stand out when creating a strong security policy for corporate information systems: authentication mechanisms, security patching and updates, encryption protocols, access controls, and monitoring and logging. In order to preserve organizational resilience in the face of changing threats and technological advancements, this policy must be reviewed and adjusted on a regular basis.
